Alarming U2/House ratio

I’m having more House dreams than U2 ones recently, although I’m better at remembering the U2 ones.

House

1. I’m sitting on the couch watching a new House episode. My mother says that House is going to put something green on his bread and eat it and that I should know what that green stuff is. I think “Oh no!!! He’s going back on vicodin! He’s going to disguise it as something green and put it on his bread! Don’t do it House!”. House is in the meantime walking from the elevators through the hallway when a woman says “Hi House” to him. House thinks “Oh no” and the woman asks if House would diagnose her. House feels her neck and says that she is too thin (that’s the diagnosis). The woman replies that House is good looking. That comment confirmed my beliefs that House was back on vicodin. 2 May 2010
   
2. House walks into a room full of medical students and picks 2 for his new team: a woman with short hair and a short man. House then asks if somebody “plays keys”. One of the students is also a music teacher, but he doesn’t play keys very well. House and the music teacher leave the room and immediately see a piano. The student says that he can play a little and plays a little on the piano. House goes after him and plays something geniously. He says very loud (so the students in the other room can hear him) “You’ve got 10 minutes left.” He goes to his office and looks boredly around him.  2 May 2010
3. Lucas tells House that he is going to marry Cuddy. 16 May 2010
4. Cuddy owns a zoo and is standing on some big white rocks. She bought things when she could have gotten them free and someone is criticising her because of that. There’s also a photographer making pictures of the zoo. 21 May 2010

6. House and Cuddy are together, but they don’t tell anyone. 1 June 2010

8. I was playing a strange House themed crossword puzzle where you also had to scratch a lot :S 15 June 2010
9. I was watching the first 20 minutes of 7×01!!! I was gasping a lot. It started with Cuddy being in House’s house, but that’s all I remember. 21 July 2010
10. House and Cuddy were in Cuddy’s new place and Rachel was there too. Cuddy had picked Rachel up from kindergarten and she had been teased by an older boy. Cuddy was upset and didn’t understand why, because Rachel is very sweet. When Cuddy was out of the room House was with Rachel and there was some water dripping from the floor above onto Rachel’s jacket and House had an epiphany. Rachel was teased because Rachel’s jacket smelled of ‘old water’ (it truly made a lot of sense in my dream, I was in awe of House’s brilliance). House then said  “Boys don’t lie.” to Rachel.
    The next moment House, Cuddy and Rachel are on a plane and House and Cuddy are discussing holiday plans. Rachel then said “Teenage boys don’t lie.” House was surprised and happy and from then on only paying attention to Rachel.  21 July 2010
    
11. I’m watching a new House episode and the intro was new, but didn’t have any music under it which was strange. Alvie was also in it and something with a hotel. 28 July 2010
12. There are 2 more people on House’s team (British?). Chase is the one who finds the answer to the diagnoses and they all go to a museum afterwards. 18 Ausgust 2010

16. House and Cuddy are dating, but House says that Cuddy needs to be re-initialised before he moves in with her (?!). Well when Cuddy is re-initialised she doesn’t know House any more. House realises he might have made a mistake and then he hears the doorbell. He knows it is himself who is going to ask Cuddy to re-initialise herself. Somebody else is going to open the door and House tackles him. Everything is then back to normal. (Doesn’t make much sense does it?) 3 September 2010

U2

1. I’m in Paris for the U2 concert, and when I get out of the underground I see Madame Tussauds. I go in there and I find Bono there :) 17 May 2010
2. Somebody is selling a bass guitar that looks very much like one from Adam. It isn’t, because it is very bendable. 20 May 2010
3. Bono wins an stage in the Giro d’Italia. (there actually was someone called Bono in the Tour de France, but in this dream it was the real Bono cycling) 23 May 2010
4. I’m going shopping and when I come back home somebody on msn tells me that U2 were in Amsterdam and that I’ve now missed them :( 19 August 2010
5. I’m backstage at a U2 concert and I meet U2 there when they are finished :) Ali is also there. 25 August 2010
6. I’m at the U2 concert in Brussel (23 September) and during I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight Larry is playing trumpet. I and the whole crowd absolutely love it! 12 September 2010

5. Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are hosting a show. Stephen does most of the talking and he gives the crowd (+- 50 people) the assignment that they have to draw something. Stephen walks around and admires everyone’s drawings :) One person had to do some accounting and he gets something from Stephen at the end. I’m quite jealous of that. Hugh was all the time also drawing something and at the end they say that if they had some more time they would have done sketches. I wished they hadn’t said that, because would have liked seeing sketches better than drawing. 15 August 2010

U2 Quiz! (3 Dreams)

EDIT: The first dream wasn’t a dream. I’m told. By Stephen Fry, and he (if anyone) should know.

I had a lovely U2 dream today. It did not had a lot of U2 in it, but it was lovely anyway…

I was in a building (called ‘C’) and there was going to be a U2 quiz there. Anyone was allowed to join, so I  happily joined the other 20 contestants. Now we had to wait for the presenters to arrive. The presenters of the quiz were Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie!!! :D The quiz started, but there were no questions about U2 in it. There were questions like: In which of these 5 videos acts Jeeves like John Cleese? (Stephen Fry is Jeeves in the series Jeeves and Wooster) I thought: “I should know this! I’ve seen Jeeves and Wooster, I know John Cleese and I have seen those 5 videos before on YouTube!” I answered that it was the 4th video, but I had it wrong! I somehow managed to survive this round and made it all the way to the semi-final. In that round you had to cook something. You were put in a team and my team decided to make spaghetti with a sauce. Another team was making tea with butter and for some reason I decided to help the other team (also big U2 fans). I successfully made tea, sliced the butter, put the butter in the tea and the only thing that remained to be done was to pour the tea into a cup. I tried to do it very carefully, but somehow I spilled everything! The man who I was helping watched me in despair and managed to say “We appreciate that you tried to help us.” I knew however that he was thinking that I wasted their precious time. I felt sorry for them and returned to my own team. The spaghetti looked OK, but the sauce was a disaster. It was fine until we added another ingredient to it and we had to make the sauce all over again. The time was now almost up and in the last minute we just added all the ingredients to the spaghetti in the hope that we would get some points. The spaghetti looked rather funny (it looked more like a salad bowl than spaghetti), so we hoped that Stephen and Hugh would give us points for that. They didn’t. At least not enough points for us to go to the final. I wasn’t that disappointed not to be in the final, because Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie were doing sketches while the ones in the final had other things to do. We were sitting on the floor and watching the sketches. I don’t remember a lot from them, but I do know they were very funny! So funny that I was screaming out with laughter!

I had another (shorter) U2 dream today:

@U2 was holding a contest were you could win U2 tickets for any show you wanted! You had to sent in the robot you had designed. I thought this was very unfair, because I could not join… There were a few days left to sent in your robot design and I doubted whether I should try to design a robot. I decided not to design a robot and instead think about how lovely it would be if I could win tickets for a U2 concert…

And lastly a dream from yesterday:

I’m in a room with Edge and a couple of other people and we’re sitting round a table. The walls are the same colour as in my own room, but there are other U2 clippings and posters on the wall. I show Edge some photos and he listens very attentively. I also have a photo of U2 where they are about 20 years old. I don’t know how I got that photo, because I’ve never seen it before and it’s definitely not taken by me, because I would have been -10 years old. I remember how Adam looked on that photograph, because he had a little beard which looked rather silly. :P

3.5 U2 Dreams

I have a shocking fact about my dreams!

Since the last time I’ve had 3 (or 3,5) U2 dreams and 8(!) House dreams!!!

U2 dream 1
I’m standing next to Bono on a train station and we’re not talking. Then a woman who doesn’t know Bono asks if she can be on a picture with him. I’m very jealous and also want to be on the picture. I give Bono a sideways hug and I discover two things: Bono is extremely soft!!!! (I really didn’t want to let go of him!) AND Bono was a lot taller than me!!! (I think that in reality we’re about the same height :P)

U2 dream 2
I’m in Amsterdam and The Claw is there! U2 isn’t there but I can see a lot of U2 fans standing there. I go there of course and I discover that the concert is going to be in a few months, but you can safe your spot now (for free). I’m willing to wait a couple of months so I sit on the stage and wait :P There are some fans in Hawaii shirts dancing on the middle of the stage and nobody seemed to mind to wait a couple of months before the concert would actually start :P

U2 dream 3
Larry is playing drums and it was fascinating to watch! It looked like it was the song With Or Without You, but it wasn’t.

House dream 7 / U2 dream 3,5
House is in Cuddy’s office and Cuddy is angry with him. The reason was that House had ruined Cuddy’s shoes during Where The Streets Have No Name. Cuddy fired House which I thought was very reasonable since House ruined the shoes during WTSHNN (Cuddy however thought the ruined bit was more important :P) So Cuddy had fired House, but she now said to him that she was going to hire him back, because “They” made her do that. The ‘they’ included Wilson. A moment later they’re good friends again and House, Wilson and Cuddy are going to a party. They had to bring dates and they were going to find a date for one of the others, so Wilson was going to find a date for Cuddy, Cuddy for House and House for Wilson. It all ended with House and Cuddy being each others date which made me as a Huddy fan very happy! And House and Cuddy looked happy too! :D

Adam or Larry?

I had another U2 dream this morning :)

Adam and Larry are in a limousine. I open the door of the limo and they invite me in! I have to choose who I’m going to sit next to… I can’t sit in the middle, so I ask if Bono is coming. He’s not, so I really have to choose where to sit. They are both smiling very kindly and I decide to sit next to Adam, because he was sitting a little bit closer to where I was standing. I sit down and think “Wow! I’m actually sitting next to Adam!!!!!” I could not say anything, but then Adam asks me what risk factors are. I start talking about insurances and cars and I’m perfectly happy! :P

After that dream I’m in a helicopter with House and I’m talking about the fact that I didn’t get tickets for the U2 concert in Paris. I somehow think it was his fault (?) and I’ve written him about 50 letters because of that. He had replied at last with a letter and I guess that it said that I should come to the helicopter. He looked me in the eyes and gave me tickets for all the U2 concerts!!! :D When my first shock was over and I begin to worry about how I’m going to get to all of the concerts, he says to me that the helicopter will always bring me! :D

House is always so kind in my dreams! :)
Always?
Well, I’ve had 8 dreams with House so far and he was always kind :)
Maybe I’ll post them another time, some are just too funny/adorable not to :)

(Stupid) alarms

Aaaargh! I had a U2 dream, but then my alarm wakes me up! :(

I am at another U2 concert in the Amsterdam Arena and while I’m walking towards my chair, a man who’s walking in front of me is getting interviewed by a news reporter. The man says that the fans on the chairs 47-52 are the greatest U2 fans in the building. I disagree of course, because I’m on chair 42, but I don’t say it out loud (I don’t really feel like giving a huge interview). The reporter is now going to chair number 1 where the fan sits who had the very first U2 ticket. He’s wearing a beautiful U2 T-Shirt! :) And then my alarm goes off! :(
The dream wasn’t very spectacular, but it probably would have been if I didn’t wake up… It did however feel great to be in the Arena again!!!! :D

Luckily I was not really awake after my alarm went off, but was still half asleep. So, I dreamt that I was a guest in Bono’s house. I realised it was a dream, so I was a little disappointed, but then Bono is poking me and saying: “Anna! Wake up!!! We’ve got a lot of things to do today!” :D Bono was really great as an alarm! And it worked too, because I woke up for real and with a lessened annoyance at getting up early :P
