My U2 Dreams

If you occasionally read my blog, you know I have a lot of U2 dreams. I decided to put them all together here and the day I decided that I dreamt that Stephen Fry commented on my blog that it was a very good idea! XD

My Favourites:
It was very hard to name my favourites without naming almost every dream. Most of them are so funny or looked so real :)

Here they are (from oldest to latest):

1. Bono and Edge were holding a talent contest. If you won, they would teach you how to play guitar. I came into the room and I saw Bono and Edge sitting on a couch with a large window behind them. I told a story and I won!!!! Bono was laughing and Edge started to play guitar. +-2006
   
2. I woke up (in my dream) and went downstairs. I opened the door and I saw Adam behind the computer! I acted like it was the most normal thing in the world and sat next to him. When I really woke up I hoped that Adam would be downstairs, but that did not come true… +-2006
3. A few weeks for my birthday I dreamt that U2 were coming to play in the Netherlands (where I live) on my birthday. I really looked forward to the concert, but then I woke up. (I had this dream 6 times! :O) November 2006
4. I am in my old school playing golf with Larry, Bono and Adam. That’s not so weird to me, but we are playing golf in a small room with computers in it. There is one computer standing in the middle. Larry smiles a lot and looks like he is REALLY good at golf. Adam goes first and hits a computer on the right and then the computer in the middle. Then it’s my turn and Bono helps me. I have exactly the same shot as Adam and I feel really proud. Then I think “where is Edge?”. That’s when I woke up with a big smile on my face. +-2007
5. This one is also weird. I am in Math class and my teacher asks: “who is a big U2 fan?”. I raise my hand immediately and he asks me what my favourite songs are. I tell him that I love all their songs, but also say that I like One and Love Is Blindness the best. Then he starts to explain Love Is Blindness(!!!!!!). He draws triangles and I think “yes that makes sense, that’s Love Is Blindness!”. Then we have to make a test and the only question I can remember is: “U2 already have a poet, what do they need more?” I answered all the other questions, but got stuck on this one. Then I finally have an answer and think it is the best answer on the world: time… +-2007
6. I am in a street (with no traffic) and I see Adam and Edge on the other side of the road. Then Bono runs past us and he’s chased by the PopMart Bono (the muscle Bono). Adam is laughing and then Edge get chased by the PopMart Edge. I start laughing and that was the end of that dream. When I woke up I almost forgot it, but luckily I remembered it :P 28 December 2007
   
7. I was in my room and saw the book U2 by U2. So I sat down and opened the book. But when I saw the first page I thought there must be something wrong with the book, because it began with the title “Stuck in a moment” and was about the ATYCLB album. I thought this was very weird and went looking for the beginning of the book. I found the boy era at the middle of the book and then I thought the book was OK (I thought for a few seconds it might show the future of U2, but with the boy era in the middle I knew that it could not be so) and started with the first page of the book. When I had read that (can’t remember anything) I turned the page and there was on the right a page called: “Rattle and Hum Special”. I thought “Wow, I did not notice this the last time I read this!” I read it and then my dream ended. 27 February 2008
   
8. I was in the car with my mum and dad on my way to U23D in Amsterdam. Then my dad asks where it is and I am a bit worried, because I don’t know what the address is. We drive past a lot of IMAX theatres, but not the one from Amsterdam. Then my dad says “Ohh, we need to go to Amsterdam!”. I thought he already knew that, but I was very relieved. My mum says “I don’t know if we should go to U23D, I read somewhere that it was dangerous to watch the movie”(!!!) all I can think is “NOOOOOOOOO I WANT TO GO!!!!!”, but we turn around and went home. 15 March 2008
9. I was in a building (a sort of sports hall) and there was going to be a Lenny Kravitz concert. I knew that U2 was going to be the support act and that was the only reason that I was there. I waited and finally it started. I saw Edge and I was the only person who looked at him (all the others looked at Lenny), I started waving at him and he saw me and he smiled! I was so happy when he saw me, it all looked very realistic and it took me a while to realise it was just a dream. I thought: WOW!! I HAVE SEEN EDGE AND HE SMILED AT ME!!!!  … … Ohh wait  it was only a dream.. A nice one though :P 11 May 2008
10. We (U2 and me) are in a small red room. Bono is playing drums very enthusiasticly and Larry is standing behind him playing guitar. Larry watches Bono all the time (to make sure that Bono isn’t damaging his drums). I’m standing between Edge and Adam and are very happy that I’m hearing U2 play. The only thing that I can remember about the song is that it was an instrumental song (Bono can’t sing when he is so busy drumming). 11 May 2008
11. I was watching a daily Dutch soccer quiz on tv called “Play like a Champion”. Suddenly I see that Bono is one of the guests. I’m very surprised and think myself very lucky for watching it exactly the same day as Bono is a guest. My luck didn’t last very long, because in the commercial break (the real show hasn’t got any commercial breaks) my tv broke down. I ran downstairs and turned on the tv. I’m looking everywhere for the same channel, but I couldn’t find it any more… 29 May 2008
12. I was in Rotterdam at a U2 concert, but I was very early in that building (there were about 20 other U2 fans). There were big screens everywhere and then a man from the crew came to us and explained what the screens did. “On the right is the Bono screen and there’s Edge, Adam and Larry” I was standing on a sort of high platform in the middle so I could see all the screens. The man of the screens moved on and went to the other U2 fans to explain about the screens. Then someone else from the crew told me that with the Live From Milan dvd Bono doubted between putting the Miss Sarajevo from Milan on the dvd or the Miss Sarajevo from Rotterdam on the dvd. I asked why, because I loved the Live from Milan version. He then showed it to me (I was there at the concert :S) and when Bono ended the song every single one in the crowd started to sing 40 (starting with: “I waited patiently for the Lord”) I was now standing next to Bono and we were both just standing there not believing or ears. I could understand why Bono doubted between Milan and Rotterdam. I was back with the member of the crew and he told me that Bono liked the Rotterdam version better, but that it would be weird to put Miss Sarajevo Live From Rotterdam on a dvd that said Live From Milan.
    Then I woke up and looked at my watch and thought “11 O’Clock…” and in my head I could hear bono say: “TICK TOCK” The concert had started! :)  9 August 2008
13. U2 are playing a song and then a man hands Edge a flute. Edge says he has never played flute before but would like to try it. He starts and the man stands next to him explains where to put his fingers. Edge doesn’t need much help and is “on fire”. I was surprised that Edge could play flute so good, but the rest of the band did not seem surprised and they just played on… 16 August 2008
14. In my dream Bono was playing drums (again! but this time he was able to sing at the same time). Bono was on his own in a the middle of a stadium. I felt like I was a cameraman, because I could get really close and there were no fans around me. Bono was playing drums really well, but I could not help thinking Larry could do this better. When I woke up I totally forgot it but then it slowly came back to me and I tried to remember the song he was playing and I now think that it was Pride. 28 August 2008
15. I found out that the new album was to be delayed at 22:00 so when I went to bed that was all I could think of. My dream of that night went like this: It was morning, and when I went into the living room my mother says something like “Have you heard the news?” and I said “Yes I know the new album is delayed to early 2009″ but then my mum says (very surprised) “No I meant the new U2 movie” I: “What?!!!!!” “U2 have made a concert movie. A sort of Rattle and Hum, I thought you knew that…” I started panicking because I did not have tickets for the première of the movie. So I quickly went to the site where you could get tickets and I see that there are 38 tickets left, I’m now panicking even more, because I thought that every second the tickets would all be sold out… I did manage to get tickets, but my ticket said that I could get in 1 hour after the movie started. It said: “enter after 1 hour, when a man in a big T-shirt interviews U2″ I then wondered whether it was going to be in 3D, but I knew the answer myself: it was not in 3D but it was going to be in HD quality and I thought: “Well HD is also very cool” THE END 2008
16. I always wake up with a CD and this time I had HTDAAB in my stereo, so that Vertigo was going to wake me up. I dreamt that my alarm went of, so I heard Vertigo (very clearly!) in my dream. I woke up for real but found out it wasn’t my stereo but a dream. I found this funny but went to sleep again since I could sleep for more than an hour before my real alarm went of. Then I dreamt again that I heard Vertigo and it woke me up again, I did not think it that funny any more and went back to sleep. After that I had the same dream again! Then I started to think it all very ridiculous. I now had a few more minutes before my alarm really went of and then I could listen to Vertigo all over again. 2008
17. I’m talking to Edge, but that’s about all I can remember. He said something smart about Staring At The Sun and something very funny about Bono and I thought “I really have to remember this line!” but I didn’t… 2008
18. I’m in a small house (in a forest) and U2 will be holding a concert there. I’m waiting with 12 other U2 fans and then the organiser tells us that U2 is not going to play a 3 hour concert but a 1.5 hour concert and after that they will go to a big stadium where they will do two shows of 3 hours (in a row). We (the other fans and me) get a bit angry, because we paid for a 3 hour concert. Then the organiser gets confused, because he thinks a 1.5 hour concert is better than a 3 hour concert… U2 arrive and we’re all very happy. There’s no stage and we can actually touch them. I remember that they played Walk On and Wake Up Dead Man. Then the show ends and they go into another room. I follow them into that room and they’re staring at me like “What is she doing here?” I realise that I have to say something and say “Oh, I’m sorry to interrupt, but I have a question.” I did not have one, but quickly thought of one and I asked Bono “Can I give you a hug?” (that was the best I could come up with :D) Bono said: “Yes of course!” and he gives me such a tight hug that he almost broke my shoulders. I remember that I thought: “Who else could say that their shoulders were broken by Bono?” :D and then I gave Larry a kiss on his cheek and then I went to Adam who told me that his guitar tasted like cherry. I was a little surprised and asked if I could taste his guitar and it did taste like cherry! :D 2008
19. In the next dream U2 are holding a show in China and Bono asks a sweet little girl (about 8 years old) on stage. The girl did not walk to him but held out her hand (as if asking for money) Bono walks to her and the girl says: “People in Africa need money” Bono did not expect this but he was very much touched by this. Suddenly I’m backstage and someone says: “Bill, put all Bono’s money on the bank now!” (because if that wasn’t done quick Bono would give all his money to Africa) 2008
20. I get a U2 iPod on my birthday :D 7 November 2008
21. Larry picked me up with his car at ‘my school’ (it wasn’t my school, but I thought so in my dream) We had a long drive and I was very happy. I can’t remember that we talked, but after a long time we arrived at a summer house (I don’t think it was from Larry) There were other people in there and it was a very small and weird house. There were only two rooms, one with a kitchen and bed in one room and no windows and the other room was also very weird. So all of us made plans to move the furniture and we were very busy making drawings of how it was going to look. And that’s about it :P 12 November 2008
22. There’s a U2 special on television at 00:30 but I forget it! Luckily they are repeating it the next day, so I can still see it. Edge is the only one who is appearing in the special and he is explaining some things about the new album: “When is the new album going to be released?” Edge: “December, January, February, March.” They are recording the album in Zeewolde (a town in The Netherlands) and I find it incredibly funny that Zeewolde would appear on the album credits next to Fez, Dublin, New York and London… XD  21 December 2008
23. I see that I have 50 mails from my mailing lists and it turns out that Bono is in the hospital, because he has lost his voice. I remember seeing Bono in a HUGE hospital room lying on a bed in the middle, wanting to get out, because there’s nothing wrong with him and he’s bored :P 24 December 2008
24. I get a new cd and dvd from Passengers, but it takes ages to take the plastic of… At least it looked nice ;) 24 December 2008
25. I am sitting on a very little chair on the front row listening to U2 :) 1 January 2009
26. Adam and Edge are wearing black Allstars (yes that was all :P) 3 January 2009
27. There is an Monty Python sketch where they perform movies and speak in morse and things like that
    
    it really starts after 1 minute :P
    And in my dream Adam was going to play in the Wuthering Heights bit and John Cleese gave him a tour around the set.  4 January 2009
28. In the first Get On Your Boots dream I heard it in my dream and when I woke up I tried to put it into words and I described it as: Quick! Very U2ish and similar to Vertigo. I remember that I really liked it. 13 January 2009
29. But in the second dream I heard it again (about 2 days later) and I didn’t like it any more, so I did not know what to expect after all… 15 January 2009
30. Two of my friends have been to an U2 furniture sale (apparently that exists :D)
    I ask (a little sad) “Why haven’t you not told me there was one? I knew nothing of it” :( Then they say “Oh, but why should we tell you? You don’t need furniture do you! And what on earth would you do there?!” “Well… I could look at it… I would love to have seen U2 furniture…” “That’s just silly and stupid!!” I almost started crying  :( 25 January 2009
31. I’m at a U2 concert. The stage looks like the one from the Vertigo Tour, but Bono is wearing clothes from Rattle And Hum, so I’m a little bit confused. I decide it’s more a R&H concert, because my dream is in black and white :P 14 February 2009
32. It was 27 February and I was racing home to hear the new album. I got there really late (around 18:00) (how on earth did I manage to need 4 hours to get home?) I went to my room, put the cd in the cd-player and pressed the play button… The song started with a heavy bass line and some drums where added after that. It reminded me a little of ‘Sixty Seconds In Kingdom Come’ I was really excited and it sounded very VERY great, but then my dad comes in my room and asks a silly question. I give an answer and he goes away. A few seconds later he’s interrupting me again and again and again, so I could not hear more than the first 10 seconds… (but it sounded great!!! :P)
33. I dreamt that I finally knew who the support act for 20 and 21 July was going to be… It started with an J, but I wasn’t very happy with it… 23 March 2009
34. I went to a U2 concert in my dream! but it was very weird…
    I was on the front row and my dad stole my ticket! (he’s not even going) but no one checked if you had tickets so it didn’t matter after all… After some time U2 came on stage, but all they were doing was drinking Orange Juice…  all the time… :S 23 March 2009
35. I dreamt that I was filming the videoclip for Magnificent!
    I was in a white room and I was filming with a simple camera. I remember thinking “Now I have to film Edge with Infinity is a great place to start on the background” but it never got to that point… 24 March 2009
36. I can play Fez – Being Born on piano! 7 April 2009
37. Larry has broken something and Adam is with him at the hospital. The doctor is not in the room and Larry is showing me the x-ray. He told me he broke it because of an “overflow”. Suddenly another Larry is sitting next to Larry… I am confused, but also convinced that they are both really Larry. It did not seem to confuse Adam :P 19 April 2009
38. Edge has been kidnapped (well sort of… it was all very weird), but I saw him and we could just walk away and then we are sort of holding a picnic :S 19 May 2009
39. I see the Breathe videoclip. Bono is running (like loose electricity?) next to a train. I remember thinking that the video was totally different than I expected. 21 May 2009
40. I am in a zoo and go into a shop there. I am looking around and then I see my dad with a huge War poster (on wood)! And with huge I mean 2,5 meters long… I am very happy and carry that poster around for the rest of the day :) 23 May 2009
41. U2 are in a theatre on the stage. They are sitting on simple chairs facing the audience. From left to right: Adam, Edge, Bono and Larry is immediate next to Bono, so it looks like this:
    ……Adam…………Edge…………Bono…Larry……
    Bono is interviewing Adam and it is pretty funny. Then Adam starts whistling birdsongs and it sounds very real. (they were probably real birds from outside, because when I woke up I heard the same birds :P)
    The interview is over and Adam and Bono start a song. Adam is playing Happy Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) on guitar and has a long solo. Edge does not have a guitar so he pretends he has a guitar and plays that one (imitating Adam). Bono is singing and Larry is sitting very quietly next to him. They finish the song and then Bono suddenly takes of a mask! (sort of like the red nose video) Bono wasn’t really Bono, but Larry with a Bono mask on!
    I was shocked as the rest of the audience! Then Adam takes of his mask and reveals that it was actually Edge! Edge had a lot of fun in seeing all those astonished faces from the audience.

    I now think it was genius and I add this interview to one of the reasons why U2 is the best band in the world. When I woke up I realised that Larry had been singing Happy Christmas and that he could sing brilliantly!!! And I saw that it made sense that Adam had that guitar solo, because it was actually Edge with a mask!  13 June 2009
42. I see that I have the phone number of Edge in my phone, but I don’t feel like calling him… ^^‘ 2009
43. On my last.fm my top 3 looks like this:  1. U2, 2. Passengers, 3. Bruce Springsteen. In my dream however, Bruce Springsteen is number one of the last three months followed by Passengers. I did not see U2 in that list, so I did not believe it was my list.  2009
44. In my dream I was sitting in my room and  I heard a song I never heard before.  I instantly knew it was a new U2 song and asked out loud what the song was called. There was nobody in the room, so nobody answered it, but I knew it was Every Breaking Wave.
    It sounded so different and when I woke up I tried to compare it to another U2 song, but I did not recognise it.
    It was a song that could make you smile and I now think of it as a combination of Mysterious Ways, Electrical Storm, Lemon and I Will Follow.
    So, it’s a brilliant (if not perfect) song! :D 28 June 2009
45. I dreamt that I was at a U2 concert in the front row and shouted so loud that they could hear me :) and smiled back at me! :) 2009

    and in my dream I was in that room with Bruce and U2 when that picture was taken (I was dreaming in black and white!) I don’t remember anything about what they were discussing, but I do remember Larry and Edge smiling a lot… 13 July 2009

47. I’m at the U2 concert around 19:00 (I’M GOING NEXT MONDAY!!!). There was no one on the stage and I was staring minute after minute at the gigantic stage. It was bigger than I ever imagined it to be and I just can’t believe my eyes. At 20:00 Snow Patrol starts, but they showed Bono on the screens who was pulling funny faces. XD 14 July 2009
48. I was standing backstage at a U2 concert behind a curtain from where I had an excellent view. I stood there watching for a couple of songs and just admired them :) However, the concert was almost over and they were about to play their last song. They wanted the curtain to be closed when they were going to play the last song, so I could not watch them play it if I stayed there. I walked on to the stage so I could see them and had to choose where I would sit: next to Adam, Bono, Edge or Larry. I quickly made my choice and sat next to Edge. I did have a logical reason for choosing to sit next to Edge: I saw that Edge had 4 U2 T-Shirts and the rest had 3, so it was obvious for me to choose Edge who had the most T-Shirts. :P 14 July 2009
49. In the next dream the same curtain is there, but now they’re walking to the stage to start the show. It looked a bit like the Elevation Tour dvd, but in my dream they had to walk past the curtain to enter the stage. At the last moment before they open the curtain Louis Theroux joins them. He’s making a documentary about U2 and he had to walk with them on stage.After the show Edge, Louis Theroux and Bruce Springsteen are sitting in a room. Bruce Springsteen has just arrived and Edge wants to shake his hand. He holds out his hand to Bruce, but before he can take it Louis Theroux takes it as if it was meant for him. Bruce and Edge are a bit surprised, but think it very funny. Bruce says to Theroux that he saw him walking with U2 on stage. He also says that he had not thought that he knew U2 personally. Louis Theroux answered that he knew U2, especially Edge, for ages. Edge invents a funny story about him and Theroux knowing each other for so long. Bruce thinks it a very funny story of Edge and plays along with the story. He plays that he is a bit offended that Edge has not told him so before, because he and Edge are spies and calls Edge by a code name: 028. Edge calls Bruce M278 and Bruce laughs very loud at the code name Edge gave him. I thought that if Bruce would carry on laughing like that he would fall of his chair, but Bruce’s mother walks into the room to see why they’re making such noise and that was the end of my dream. 14 July 2009
50. I’m watching a program about the Tour de France in the drawing room. Suddenly Bono’s being interviewed. I instantly turn up the volume and I see Bono painting his jeans pink! I was shocked to see that he was being interviewed in a program where I had not expected him, but seeing him painting his jeans pink did not at all shock me. I actually thought it a very pretty shade of pink. He talks and continues the painting and then the program shows Bruce Springsteen who is also being interviewed at a little distance. Bruce is talking for a few minutes and the last he says is: “But I have to admit that Bono is a better singer than me.” The program switches back to Bono and I hear “But I have to admit that Bruce Springsteen is a better singer than me.” It was however not Bono who said that, because it was someone else’s voice, but the program makers wanted it to look like Bono said it. It was not very convincing and was actually very funny to hear it. 14 July 2009
51. U2 are in a room discussing things and Larry is shirtless! :O He was extremely muscled and good looking! Adam also pulled of his shirt, but he was not nearly as muscled as Larry, in fact it looked quite weird… like he was made out of clay… :S Hmm, weird :P 14 July 2009
52. Do you know the number 3 shirt from Edge? Well in my dream he was wearing that, but it was in red and white and I was thinking “It’s not right! His shirt does not look like that! It really looks different!” 27 July 2009
53. Edge is singing Stuck In A Moment and it is beautiful! I could listen to that for hours… He is not wearing his hat and it looks strange. :P 8 Augustus 2009
54. I’m parking my bike next to a sports hall. There’s a security guard next to a back door (near my bike). I find out that he’s there, because there’s going to be a U2 concert there! Of course I want to go into that building immediately and the security guard understands it and let’s me in “Only for this time, the next time you’ll have to use the main entrance.”!!! :D I run as fast as I can to the stage and I am really at the front! There are only a few other U2 fans there (about 20) and I feel very lucky that I am actually in front of the U2 stage, without knowing a minute ago that there was to be a concert! I really have the best spot: in front of where Bono is going to sing! Although a moment afterwards all the people on the front row are pushed to the side, so I’m now at the left end of the stage… That spot is also very good (if not better), because I’m now in front of where Edge is going to stand! :D I’m talking to some U2 fans next to me, but suddenly I realise that I still have my coat on and you are not allowed to go to a U2 concert with your coat on! I ask the U2 fans to hold the spot for me, while I run to the dressing rooms to put my coat there. (I can’t remember that I’ve ever ran faster in a dream! I was incredibly fast!) Luckily the dream did not turn into a nightmare, because I did come back to the stage and the kind U2 fans saved my spot! :) 19 Augustus 2009
55. It’s 1976 And I’m walking with Edge through Mount Temple. Edge has that lovely hair of his and I keep looking admiringly at his hair :P It’s a special day for Edge, because since today he officially has a girlfriend :) Edge sees Bono and Bono congratulates Edge and is really very happy for him :)Bono and Edge were so cute! :) They  looked so young and were simply adorable :P 22 Augustus 2009
56. I am at another U2 concert in the Amsterdam Arena and while I’m walking towards my chair, a man who’s walking in front of me is getting interviewed by a news reporter. The man says that the fans on the chairs 47-52 are the greatest U2 fans in the building. I disagree of course, because I’m on chair 42, but I don’t say it out loud (I don’t really feel like giving a huge interview). The reporter is now going to chair number 1 where the fan sits who had the very first U2 ticket. He’s wearing a beautiful U2 T-Shirt! :) And then my alarm goes off! :(
    The dream wasn’t very spectacular, but it probably would have been if I didn’t wake up… It did however feel great to be in the Arena again!!!! :D 21 September 2009
57. Luckily I was not really awake after my alarm went off, but was still half asleep. So, I dreamt that I was a guest in Bono’s house. I realised it was a dream, so I was a little disappointed, but then Bono is poking me and saying: “Anna! Wake up!!! We’ve got a lot of things to do today!” :D Bono was really great as an alarm! And it worked too, because I woke up for real and with a lessened annoyance at getting up early :P 21 September 2009
58. Bono is giving  a speech and there are a lot of people watching. I have a good view and am of course very happy :). Then Bono says to everyone that he doesn’t like to speak Dutch! :O I was extremely disappointed… 8 October 2009
59. Adam and Larry are in a limousine. I open the door of the limo and they invite me in! I have to choose who I’m going to sit next to… I can’t sit in the middle, so I ask if Bono is coming. He’s not, so I really have to choose where to sit. They are both smiling very kindly and I decide to sit next to Adam, because he was sitting a little bit closer to where I was standing. I sit down and think “Wow! I’m actually sitting next to Adam!!!!!” I could not say anything, but then Adam asks me what risk factors are. I start talking about insurances and cars and I’m perfectly happy! :P 19 October 2009
60. I’m in a helicopter with House and I’m talking about the fact that I didn’t get tickets for the U2 concert in Paris. I somehow think it was his fault (?) and I’ve written him about 50 letters because of that. He had replied at last with a letter and I guess that it said that I should come to the helicopter. He looked me in the eyes and gave me tickets for all the U2 concerts!!! :D When my first shock was over and I begin to worry about how I’m going to get to all of the concerts, he says to me that the helicopter will always bring me! :D 19 October 2009
61. I dreamt about Bono, but I can’t remember what else happened!!! :(
    He was talking a lot and I was standing on his left side. He was wearing those pink sunglasses, but that is all I can remember! 23 October 2009
62. I’m standing next to Bono on a train station and we’re not talking. Then a woman who doesn’t know Bono asks if she can be on a picture with him. I’m very jealous and also want to be on the picture. I give Bono a sideways hug and I discover two things: Bono is extremely soft!!!! (I really didn’t want to let go of him!) AND Bono was a lot taller than me!!! (I think that in reality we’re about the same height :P) 28 October 2009
63. I’m in Amsterdam and The Claw is there! U2 isn’t there but I can see a lot of U2 fans standing there. I go there of course and I discover that the concert is going to be in a few months, but you can safe your spot now (for free). I’m willing to wait a couple of months so I sit on the stage and wait :P There are some fans in Hawaii shirts dancing on the middle of the stage and nobody seemed to mind to wait a couple of months before the concert would actually start :P 1 November 2009

65. House is in Cuddy’s office and Cuddy is angry with him. The reason was that House had ruined Cuddy’s shoes during Where The Streets Have No Name. Cuddy fired House which I thought was very reasonable since House ruined the shoes during WTSHNN (Cuddy however thought the ruined bit was more important :P) So Cuddy had fired House, but she now said to him that she was going to hire him back, because “They” made her do that. The ‘they’ included Wilson. A moment later they’re good friends again and House, Wilson and Cuddy are going to a party. They had to bring dates and they were going to find a date for one of the others, so Wilson was going to find a date for Cuddy, Cuddy for House and House for Wilson. It all ended with House and Cuddy being each others date which made me as a Huddy fan very happy! And House and Cuddy looked happy too! :D 3 November 2009
66. I was thinking about House and U2 in my dream and suddenly I thought Wait a second!! Didn’t U2 show House on the screen during their concerts? I wasn’t certain, so I typed “U2 House MD” in Google images and found my own pictures! I clicked on one of them and saw House (wearing his red shirt) on the screens! I thought Why can’t I remember this?!! but than I have a flashback and am in the Amsterdam Arena again :D U2 are playing a song and I now see a younger Hugh Laurie on the screens :) 2 December 2009
67. I’m in a room with Edge and a couple of other people and we’re sitting round a table. The walls are the same colour as in my own room, but there are other U2 clippings and posters on the wall. I show Edge some photos and he listens very attentively. I also have a photo of U2 where they are about 20 years old. I don’t know how I got that photo, because I’ve never seen it before and it’s definitely not taken by me, because I would have been -10 years old. I remember how Adam looked on that photograph, because he had a little beard which looked rather silly. :P 11 December 2009
68. I was in a building (called ‘C’) and there was going to be a U2 quiz there. Anyone was allowed to join, so I  happily joined the other 20 contestants. Now we had to wait for the presenters to arrive. The presenters of the quiz were Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie!!! :D The quiz started, but there were no questions about U2 in it. There were questions like: In which of these 5 videos acts Jeeves like John Cleese? (Stephen Fry is Jeeves in the series Jeeves and Wooster) I thought: “I should know this! I’ve seen Jeeves and Wooster, I know John Cleese and I have seen those 5 videos before on YouTube!” I answered that it was the 4th video, but I had it wrong! I somehow managed to survive this round and made it all the way to the semi-final. In that round you had to cook something. You were in a team and we decided to make spaghetti with a sauce. Another team was making tea with butter and for some reason I decided to help the other team (also big U2 fans). I successfully made tea, sliced the butter, put the butter in the tea and the only thing that remained to be done was to pour the tea into a cup. I tried to do it very carefully, but somehow I spilled everything! The man who I was helping watched me in despair and managed to say “We appreciate that you tried to help us.” I knew however that he was thinking that I wasted their precious time. I felt sorry for them and returned to my own team. The spaghetti looked OK, but the sauce was a disaster. It was fine until we added another ingredient to it and we had to make the sauce all over again. The time was now almost up and in the last minute we just added all the ingredients to the spaghetti in the hope that we would get some points. The spaghetti looked rather funny (it looked more like a salad bowl than spaghetti), so we hoped that Stephen and Hugh would give us points for that. They didn’t. At least not enough points for us to go to the final. I wasn’t that disappointed not to be in the final, because Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie were doing sketches while the ones in the final had other things to do. I don’t remember a lot from the sketches, but I do know they were very funny! 12 December 2009
69. @U2 was holding a contest were you could win U2 tickets for any show you wanted! You had to sent in the robot you had designed. I thought this was very unfair, because I could not join… There were a few days left to sent in your robot design and I doubted whether I should try to design a robot. I decided not to design a robot and instead think about how lovely it would be if I could win tickets for a U2 concert… 12 December 2009
70. There was a rumour a that U2 would play in The Netherlands on 10 and 11 September. Sadly the rumour was just a rumour, but in my dream it came true! 16 December
71. I was again in the Amsterdam Arena for the 20 July concert and this time I went to the place where they sold U2 things and I intended to buy EVERYTHING! :D 3 January 2010
72. I was in a barber shop and they had dvds. I looked through the dvds (there was not much sense in getting a hair cut since there where no barbers) and I found It Might Get Loud! It was a special edition and had a big picture of Edge on the cover. It also had 3 dvds, one for each guitarist. I wanted to buy it, but I then discovered it cost 700 euros!!!  I didn’t  want to pay 700 euros so I wondered how much the Edge dvd alone would cost, but you couldn’t buy it separately :( 9 January 2010
73. There was a small car and I knew that U2 was in that car so I get in. I look happy and then Larry walks to the car and says that I’m sitting on his chair. I had not thought of that and I wonder how I should make room. I say to Larry that he could use me as a chair. I meant it more as a joke, but Larry takes it seriously and sits on me XD How many people can say that Larry Mullen Jr. used them as a chair?!!! Hahaha XD Now we’re about to start driving and I realise that Larry is not wearing a safety belt, because I’m using the one from the chair… So I use my arms as a safety belt :P It was GREAT to be Larry’s chair and safety belt!!! 28 January 2010
74. I’m at a U2 360 convert and I’m standing under the Claw. I look up and notice that the roof of the Claw is stunning. I now look on the screen and I want to take a picture of it, but when I get my camera I see that Bono is really close, so I stretch out my hand and he lifts me up upon the stage!!! Adam, Edge and Larry are also standing next to me and they stop playing to say hi to me :D I give someone in the crowd my camera so he could make a photo with me and the band! 10 February 2010

78. Me and Bono are following Edge in a car (Bono is driving). There are a lot of hills and we lose Edge. We think it was because Edge drove too hard, but than we realise that Edge would never do that so we go for the theory that he has just magically disappeared. We go somewhere else and Bono is going to give a concert there. There are already a lot of people and Bono climbs a ladder in the middle of the crowd and starts singing. I want to go to the ladder too, but it’s impossible to get there with all the fans surrounding the ladder. I take of my shoes and I have to hide there somewhere(?). Then I see someone coming and I need to quickly put on my shoes again, but it went nightmarishly slow. I did manage it and I have a new plan. The person I saw was Beyonce (or Madonna) and she is walking towards the stage. I just follow here and I can reach the ladder, because everybody makes room for her. I climb the ladder and when I’m at the top where Bono is I say “Hi!”. Bono is very happy to see me. He holds my hand so he doesn’t have to hold the ladder anymore. While it was fun to hold Bono’s hand I felt an enormous responsibility, because if I let go he would fall to the ground. We see the singer of AC/DC coming and climbing the ladder. When he’s at our level he asks what I’m doing there. He doesn’t want me there, but Bono says that I’m staying there, so he leaves. Bono continues singing and than I see Bruce Springsteen! I say “Kijk kijk! Het is Bruce Springsteen!” (Look look! It is Bruce Springsteen!) I realise I said it in Dutch, but Bono smiles and understood it :) Bruce climbs the ladder and begins to laugh. 20 March 2010

91. After the U2 concert in Brussels I’m walking outside, but all the merchandise is sold out and I’m a bit sad, because I wanted to buy things. Then it starts raining hard and the river starts overflowing, so that’s distracting me from the merchandise :P 19 September 2010
92. I’m at a concert and U2 is playing New Year’s Day and Bono is drumming! However The Claw is being dismantled and suddenly it’s gone. A lot of concert goers think the concert is over and are leaving the stadium. I can still see Bono who is looking a little baffled so I’m definitely not leaving. Bono is walking around the empty field and starts singing “40″ with the “Oh Oh Oh” from Moment Of Surrender. The field is already empty, but the people in the higher seats who weren’t gone yet now return to their seats. Bono saw that I did not try to leave and smiled at me :) 17 October 2010

94. U2 announced another Europe leg, but again they didn’t come to the Netherlands. They did plan a concert in Belgium (some place beginning with an S) and I make up my mind that I’m going there although I never heard of the place before. The rest of the concerts are mostly in East Europe and one is also in a place called Anna. I feel I should also go to that concert, but well I had no idea in what country the city Anna lies :P 20 October 2010
    
95. I’m in a forest and see a little house there. It’s for sale and suddenly I ‘remember’ that that house used to belong to Bono, so I HAD to buy it XD I started a bakery there and hoped that Bono would heard of the news and decide to visit. 7 November 2010
96. House is hallucinating again and this time Amber is not his subconscious, but Bono. House doesn’t realise that Bono is a hallucination so he is not worried at all, but just chatting with Bono. Then Bono suddenly starts bleeding and House starts diagnosing him. While House is checking Bono’s eyes and doing those sort of test I’m getting more confused by the second, because unlike House I do know that Bono is House’s subconscious and well I find it all very strange. I’m also started to get worried for House’s health, because it can’t be good for you if your own subconscious is ill. 9 November 2010
