Since the ‘About’ page is the fourth most viewed page of this blog, I thought it time to make it a little more serious…

I? I am a humble guy girl… hahaha XD

My name is Anna, live in The Netherlands and I’m 19 years old.

When this blog started out I was about 15 (+2), 16 (+1)... definitely not 14 ;)

I started a blog on Blogger, because I had to for school. I had never thought about starting a blog before, for what interesting things could I say?

I had the two posts for school and then nothing… Until the @U2 contest. You could win the Remasters from Boy, October and War if you had a post on your blog about @U2. So I made one. This one. And… I won!!!!! Well, not the grand prize, but I did win a rare promo! :D And then I thought “Talking about U2 is easy!!! I could fill a whole blog with that!” And so I did. :P

I did not like Blogger very much, because it would display all kinds of error messages just when I felt like writing something. I stepped over to WordPress and I like that a lot better! Stats!! :D It’s much better than Blogger!

I’ve been a U2 fan since +- 2003. My mother got the Elevation Tour dvd on her birthday and I watched that over and over again. I just loved it… It just felt like the right thing to do… And now, +- 6 years later I can tell you that U2 is the perfect band for me! They are not only musically the best band on earth, but they are also very funny and just adorable! :) I could and I do listen to them every day. I can tell you the exact date that I did not listen to them or worse, did not think about them a whole day! 8 October 2007 Excuse? A holiday in Paris with school. The first day I listened to U2 in the bus on the way to Paris, but in Paris I forgot about them. When we were at the Sacre Couer a band played One, so I thought about them again, but the next day I completely forgot. I realised it on 9 October (in the evening) and was shocked… I took out my mp3 and listened to them that evening. The rest of the holiday I still felt ashamed that I had forgotten them that I did not forget them anymore… And after that I never did! Of course, there are days where I listen less than usual, but that still are a couple of songs… By the way, I am on last.fm, so you can see all my listening statistics if you want to! http://www.last.fm/user/U2isdebest

Oh, :D and I’ve been to two U2 concerts so far, as you might have guessed from this post…
23 September will be concert number 3!

Another thing about me that I should mention here is that I have a lot of U2 dreams! (I call 50+ a lot ;D)

I love them! They are so funny, weird and/or beautiful that I can’t get enough of them. I have listed them ALL on my blog! So you can read them if you want to (highly recommended)  ALL my U2 dreams

What more? Oh, the blog is titled Staring At The Sun after the U2 song. The song is brilliant and (in my humble opinion) brilliant as the title of this blog!
